Kia Forte: Oil Pump Removal and Installation

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Lubrication System / Oil Pump Removal and Installation

1.	Remove the timing chain cover. (Refer to Timing System – “Timing Chain Cover”)

Remove the oil pump cover (A).

Tightening torque

Screws :

5.9 ~ 8.8 N.m (0.6 ~ 0.9 kgf.m, 4.3 ~ 6.5 lb-ft)

Bolts :

8.8 ~ 13.7 N.m (0.9 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1 lb-ft)

3.	Remove the inner rotor (A) and outer rotor (B).

4.	Install in the reverse order of removal.
