Kia Forte: Radiator Grill Replacement

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
|

|
When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with
protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related
parts, to prevent damage.
|

|
Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim
pieces to protect from marring the surface.
|
•
|
Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.
|
|

Remove the front bumper cover.
(Refer to Front Bumper - "Front Bumper Cover")
|
2. |
Disconnect the front ultra sensor connector (A) and front bumper
mounting wiring harness (B).
|
3. |
Detach the clips (A), then remove the front bumper energy absorber
(B).
|
4. |
Loosen the radiator grill mounting screws.
|
5. |
Unlock the lock pins (B) by pushing it up with a screwdriver or
remover and then remove the radiator grill (A).
|
6. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
|
• |
Replace any damaged clips.
|
