Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Brake System / ESC(Electronic Stability Control) System / Yaw-rate and Lateral G Sensor / Removal

1.
Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2.
Pull the passenger seat towards the front till the end.
3.
Disconnect the yaw rate & lateral G sensor connector (A).

4.
Remove the mounting bolts (B).

Tightening torque:
7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 Ib-ft)

5.
Install in the reverse order of removal.
  
In a case of replacing the Yaw rate sensor, operate "Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration" by GDS.
