Kia Forte: Valve Body Installation

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Automatic Transaxle System / Hydraulic System / Valve Body Installation

1.	Install in the reverse order of removal.

After replacement or reinstallation procedure of the valve body assembly, must perform procedures below.

•	Adding Automatic Transaxle Fluid(ATF). (Refer to Hydraulic System - "Fluid")

•	Perform Transaxle Control Module(TCM) learning after replacing the valve body to prevent slow transaxle response, jerky acceleration and jerky startup. (Refer to Automatic Transaxle Control System - "Repair procedures")

•	Replace the gasket (A) before reinstalling the valve body cover.
