Remove the engine cover.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
|
3. |
Disconnect the wiring connectors and harness clamps, and then
remove the wiring and protectors from the intake manifold.

4. |
Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose (A).
|
5. |
Disconnect the vacuum hose (A) and purge control solenoid valve
(PCSV) hose (B).
|
6. |
Unfasten the electric throttle body control (ETC) module bolts.
(Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "ETC (Electric throttle
body control) System")
|
7. |
Remove the intake manifold stay (A).
|
8. |
Remove the intake manifold (A) with the gasket (B).
|
9. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
